In response to the Novel coronavirus epidemic, the museum has taken measures expand environmental disinfection to ensure safety and the prevention of outbreaks. From 14th of February through 30th of June, the Northern Branch will adjust business hours as follows: Tuesday through Sunday from 09:00~17:00 and closes on every Monday; The Southern Branch will remain its business hours but may be subject to changes according to the epidemic.

1.“Taipei Fun Pass l Classic Version”includes tickets to two popular attractions (Taipei 101 Observatory adult ticket x 1, National Palace Museum ordinary ticket x 1, allowing visit to each attraction once) + EasyCard with Taipei symbolic images design (gift)

2.  The specific EasyCard with Taipei symbolic images design: top-up for use of transportation such as Taipei MRT, Pingxi/Shen’ao Line of Taiwan Railways, City Bus, Taiwan Tourist Shuttle…etc. You can also pay with EasyCard at convenience stores, supermarkets, gas stations and so on.

  • Expiration Date：

  1.  Tickets are subject to 14 days of expiration, that is to say, tickets must be used within 14 days after Pass activation (including the date of activation). For example, ticket to the National Palace Museum is used on January 1, 2019, so the rest of the ticket shall be used by January 14, 2019.

  2. Please top up before use the EasyCard.
  • Admission Instructions for various venues:

1.Taipei 101 Observatory Full-Price Ticket：Bring “Taipei Fun Pass” to “Ticket Collection Machine of Taipei Fun Pass”, select time period and scan your code, ticket will be printed, and please plan to enter at appointed timing.

2.National Palace Museum Ordinary-Visit Ticket ：Scan the Pass at the entrance to enter. 

3.Southern Branch Of The National Palace Museum Ordinary-Visit Ticket(gift)：please receive the entry ticket by showing the Fun Card at the ticket booth.

4.EasyCard Function: You can use the EasyCard to make payment after top-up. Please visit EasyCard Corporation website for more user information:https://www.easycard.com.tw/

  • The Pass is also an EasyCard. Please top up before use. The EasyCard is non-returnable. For deposit remaining in the Pass, please visit Information Counters at Taipei MRT stations or Customer Service Center of EasyCard Corporation for deposit refund.
  • You’ll have 10 days to pick up the Pass at the selected location on the designated day. After the ten-day period, it will be returned automatically if not collected and you will receive a 90% refund (If Jan. 5th is the earliest pick-up date, the ten-day pick-up period will be from Jan. 5th to Jan. 14th).

  • The Pass cannot be reimbursed or reissued if it is used or damaged.

  • The Pass is not registered by name. If it is lost, please be advised that it is unable to report missing and re-issue tickets.

  • The National Palace Museum is open free of charge on January 1, Lantern Festival, International Museum Day on May 18, World Tourism Day on September 27, Double Tenth Day on October 10, and Taiwan Culture Day Oct. 17. Please refer to the above dates for free visit.

  • Order is completed once the payment has been made. Please complete the payment within an hour after placing your order. Any unpaid order will be automatically cancelled by the system after one hour.

  • Pass Return:
  1. When the Pass remains unused, normal appearance under complete package, please visit Taipei Fun Pass website, APP or e-mail to apply for Pass return. The processing fee is 10% of the Pass price.
  2. If the Pass is somehow unscannable, it can be returned under normal appearance and intact condition through website, APP or e-mail.
  3. Steps of Pass Return:

Step 1: Deposit Refund

  •  For deposit remaining in the Pass, please visit Information Counters at Taipei MRT stations or Customer Service Center of EasyCard Corporation for deposit refund.

  • A handling fee of NT$20 will be charged for deposit refund.
  • Once the Pass has entered the deposit refund process, it cannot be topped up.

Step 2: Pass Return and Refund

Before sending the Pass back to the Customer Service Center, make sure the Pass has no deposit. After sending back the Pass, the remaining deposit cannot be refundable.

    【E-mail】write to service@fontrip.com.tw with “Taipei Fun Pass return application” as the subject, and the email stating the order number and name or orderer.

  • When the Pass remains unused, normal appearance under complete package, please send it to the【 Customer Service Center at Rm.427, Hall 52, No.195, Sec. 4, Zhongxing Rd., Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County 31040, Taiwan (R.O.C.) 】If the Pass is damaged or somehow cannot be sent back, it is unable to get the refund.

  • Or you can visit the original place of purchase for Pass return.

Note: Tickets unused at the appointed timing need to be brought back to the 5th floor ticketing for team members to process.

  • EasyCard

This specific EasyCard shall be topped up by cash. The deposit within is refundable with handling fee of NT$20 to be charged. However, the card itself is non-refundable.
