The animal-themed appearance of the shuttle train is deeply loved by both adults and children and is an essential part of many visitors' trips to the zoo.

There is a train terminal located next to the koala house in the park. Visitors who enter the park from the south entrance of the Maokong Zoo Station can also take the shuttle train at the Bird World Station next to the Bird World.

If you are tired of walking in the park or carrying strollers or luggage into the park, taking the "Taipei Zoo Shuttle Train" is definitely the most time-saving and effortless option! It allows you to move around the park easily and enjoyably, and have a relaxing time at the zoo.

Each train has a different style and seating arrangement, so the zoo recommends that you fold up your stroller before boarding so that children can ride more comfortably. All the shuttle trains have a wheelchair-accessible car in the last section. If needed, please inform the service staff, and the zoo service staff will assist visitors in boarding.

｜There are two entrances to Taipei Zoo, one is the main entrance, and the other is the south entrance at the Taipei Zoo South Station.

➥ Taiepi Zoo Main Entrance: If you wish to take the visitor train, please go to the main station or the bird park station to board. Please present your credentials to the staff for verification before boarding.

➥ Taipei Zoo South Entrance: When sensing the QR code at the entrance of the Taipei Zoo's south station, please click on 'Continue Redemption' to complete the redemption of the visitor train ticket and gain entry.

➥ Since there is no walking route from the Taipei Zoo South Station to the Bird World Station and only the shuttle train can shuttle between the two stations, visitors entering the Taipei Zoo South Station must present both the Taipei Zoo admission ticket and the shuttle train ticket. If you did not purchase the train ticket, you can pay an additional NT$5 in cash per person on site.

• Only one-way shuttle service is provided. Taipei Zoo South Station ↔ Bird World Station
• Bird World Station ↔ Shuttle Train Station; There is no direct shuttle train between Shuttle Train Station and Taipei Zoo South Station. Passengers need to get off at Bird World Station and transfer to another train (no need to exit the station). If passengers need to ride again, they need to purchase another ticket (can be paid by EasyCard, iPass, iCash or cash).
• For those who are eligible for free admission, please present a valid ID at the entrance. Failure to present a valid ID will result in the loss of the discount.
• There is no refund for tickets after entering the park. Please show the ticket to the station attendant for recycling before boarding the train.
• Tickets will not be reissued, refunded or replaced if lost, damaged, burned, torn or otherwise unreadable.
• Please refer to the official website for shuttle schedules.
• Eligibility for free shuttle train tickets:

-Children under 6 years old.

-People with disabilities and one necessary companion with a disability certificate.

• Each product is limited to one time use.
• The exchange of tickets cannot be canceled after the exchange.
• The service at the Taipei Zoo South Station will be suspended during the Maokong Gondola's regular maintenance or when it is not in operation.
