The Gold Museum was a revitalized site of the former offices of Taiwan Metal Mining Corp. It is a total replica and representation of the history of how mining was done decades ago. Not only are the buildings here a part of a rich history, but the food we serve, the Miner’s Lunch Box, is also a true representation of the so-called “Taiwanese Soul Food”. It is a simple delicacy that will fill you with a sense of nostalgia.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30-16:30(last entrance), Saturday and Sunday 9:30-17:30(last entrance)

  • Closed on the first Monday of every month, the next day of national holidays, Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Day, natural disasters day off announced by the government. Please visit the official website for more details.

  

➥ Enter after a staff member has scanned your QR Code and get the hand stamp to enter the Four Joined Japanese-Style Residence, Environmental Building, Gold Refining Building, Jin-shuei Special Exhibition Hall and Gold Building.
➥ Examination of hand stamp is necessary before enter the building. Please cooperate with staff.

 

▏Miner’s Café


  • Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 10:30-17:00; Saturday and Sunday 10:30-18:00
  • Scan the QR Code at the counter of the Miner’s Café for use.

 

 

▏Public Transport:

  1. From Taipei, take the East Coast trainlines heading towards Yilan and Hualien, get off at Ruifang Station, walk 100m towards the square next to the Ruifang Police Station and catch the 788 bus (Keelung Bus Company) to Gold Museum. From the front entrance of the museum it is a 5 minute walk to the Miner’s Canteen.
  2. Take the 965 bus from Banquiao Bus Station, get off at Jinguashi Station.
  3. Take the Keelung 1062 Bus at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (2nd Exit), to Jinguashi Station (Gold Museum / Gold Ecological Park).
  4. Stop at Ruifang Train Station, take a left from the exit and walk approximately 300m to the District Square next to the Ruifang police station. Take the Taiwan Trip – Golden Fulong Bus to the Gold Museum.

  • Order is completed once the payment has been made.
  • Please pay within an hour after placing your order. Any unpaid order will be automatically cancelled by the system after one hour.
  • The system does not allow revision of orders. If you want to change the number of people, refund of tickets and re-orders are required.
  • No products can be refunded once they are redeemed.
  • You can go to the Taipei Fun Pass website or its app or send an email to get a refund for unused merchandise.
  • If apply for refund while any ticket of the combined tickets has been redeemed, it will be charged the list price of the items have been redeemed.

  • Limit each product once.
  • Gold Museum Full-price Ticket is only valid for Four Joined Japanese-Style Residence, Metal Art Building, Gold Refining Building, Jin-shuei Special Exhibition Hall and Gold Building. Other paid experience activities in the museum area are excluded.
  • The validate period of the combined tickets will be 7 days from the date that the first ticket has been used. If the first product after October 1, 2019 enablers, the latest use of deadline until December 7, 2019 only.
