Store information

After Westerners stepped onto this land in the 17th century, the Han people settled down here as well. Its history has given the small estuary town of Tamsui a diverse appearance.

The Tamsui Historical Museum consists of Fort San Domingo and a cluster of historic buildings in the proximity. Included in the admission ticket are Fort San Domingo, the Little White House, and Hobe Fort; free-entry sites include the Tamsui Customs Wharf, Douglas Lapraik & Co., Tamsui Art Gallery, TAG Tamsui Plaza, Cheng Family Abode and the Former Residence of Taba Eikichi. These historical buildings are located on the mountainside close to the ocean and, accompanied by Guanyin Mountain, the Tamsui River and the golden sunset, are the most beautiful gems in the town.
