Construction of a car racing track of international standard， the transformation of three Japanese era buildings， without damaging the existing buildings， into an international tourist hotel， a micro light runway and associated facilities and the construction of Phase 1 of a dock are planned for the 260-hectare Dapeng Bay International Leisure Zone.In the future Dapeng Bay will greet the public in a new guise: an international tourism and leisure zone. The zone will have diverse leisure resource and activities， including military tunnel exploration， eco-tours of the lake， canoeing， windsurfing， rowing and bumper boats， micro light flights and other fun activities.There are a number of military relics left over from the Japanese era in the zone. The tunnels under military bases were built by the Japanese.They were secret and it is not known whether they are connected to other tunnels， adding an air of mystery to them.
