This is the famous Blue Highway of Northern Taiwan, connecting Tamsui Old Street and Fisherman’s Wharf; the total journey is about 15 to 20 minutes. In the sunshine, you can wander the lanes and alleys of the old street exploring well-known street food and vendors, and hop on board the boat at Tamsui Ferry Wharf and head to Fisherman's Wharf.
When leaving the wharf, you can look back and get a stunning full view of Tamsui Old Street as it climbs up the slope. The ripples on the river glisten as you sail along; the view opens up even broader at Fisherman’s Wharf as it’s where the river meets the sea.
Fisherman’s Wharf is one of the best spots for watching the sunset. The ever-changing clouds, the golden sunset and its sparkling reflections on the ocean, along with the people enjoying in the golden colors of this magical hour – you will be immersed in the lovely moment.
There are 3 ferry wharfs near Tamsui Old Street. Walk along from Tamsui MRT station toward the Old Street, you will pass Wharf A, B, C and D, and then finally arrive at our Wharf E and F. Please recognize the blue bird sign of Taipei Cruise Company for the right ferry! If you depart from Fisherman’s Wharf, please board the ferries with the blue bird sign at Wharf No.5.
