 American cable news network CNN once reported on the unique landscape of “Yehliu Geopark”, likening it to outer-space geology, dubbing it the most Mars-like rock environment on Earth.

A visit offers views of many strange and spectacular rocks, including the world-famous “Queen’s Head” and wonders of marine erosion such as the “Ice Cream Rock”, ”Bee Hive Rock”,” Ginger Rock” and “Candle Stick Rock”. The abundant and diverse geological landscape is enough to take one’s breath away and marvel at the uncanny work of nature!

The rich ocean ecology and fishing village charm around Yehliu make this place become a popular educational and recreational travel destination. Every May, when Jinshan Cihugong temple believers escorts Mazu’s return from the “inspection tour”, they always visit the sea cave in Yehliu, where Mazu was found by fisherman. It is truly a unique experience to watch the vast and mighty escorting team walk through the Geopark!               

Yehliu Cape boasts a landscape formed by weathering and erosion, resulting in a remarkably diverse topography.

︱Notice Regarding Consumption Vouchers for the Food and Beverage Department/Souvenir Department at Yehliu Geopark Visitor Center:

  1. The consumption vouchers can be used to offset a total of 50 NTD (including one voucher with a face value of 50 NTD).
  2. They can be used on both weekdays and weekends. The vouchers are applicable to all items in the store, and the price difference for purchased items should be paid in cash at the venue.
  3. No additional invoices or receipts will be issued for the amount used with the vouchers.
  4. The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or given as change. They cannot be combined with other promotions or special offers.
  5. The vouchers can only be redeemed at the Food and Beverage Department/Souvenir Department within Yehliu Geopark Visitor Center.

  1. The vouchers can only be redeemed once and cannot be refunded or canceled after redemption.
  2. The vouchers have a validity period of 14 days, starting from the day of ticket issuance. For example, if the first item is used on January 1, 2022, the latest date of use will be January 14, 2022.
  3. Except in cases where the office and classes are suspended due to natural disasters as stipulated in the "Regulations on Suspension of Office and Class Activities Due to Natural Disasters" by county or city governments, or when the operating management unit decides to fully or partially close the park due to safety concerns for visitors based on the actual conditions of the park, the organizer may arrange for postponement or cancellation of the activities. Advance notice and contact will be provided. The organizer reserves the right to modify, terminate, or change the details of the activities. Please check the official website before departure.
