YM Oceanic Culture & Art Museum
The original building owned by Nippon Yusen Kaisha was completed on May 4, 1915, built in a "historic style" that was popular at that time; it was an important example of architecture at the west coast of Keelung Harbor, and it has special indicative significance to Keelung's position as a shipping hub. After the Recession of Taiwan, the building was taken over by the Business Department, and Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. was appointed to take charge of operation management until the present. Undergoing the baptism of World War II and years of weathering, the preservation of the old-time facade of the building and its retro and elegant round-shaped arcade can roughly show the outer look of the building in the Japanese-ruled period. Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., on the basis of a high degree of concern about the heritage of marine aquaculture and reusing revitalization of historical architecture, has started planning and renovating since 2003; in addition to preserving the ancient building's simple and unadorned style, with taking marine aquaculture as longitude, humanity and arts as latitude and infusing new life, new spirit, and new vision, the corporation named the building the " YM Oceanic Culture & Art Museum".
Main Exhibition Building of the National Museum of Marine Science & Technology
[Main Exhibition Building]

[IMAX Theater]
The IMAX Theater has Taiwan's largest IMAX screen to exhibit 3D visual effects; with fully digital controlled surround stereo effects, audiences can completely immerse themselves in the film. A new film will be launched every half year, and the films have themes of the ocean, humanity, and history.
[Regional Exploration Building]
The Regional Exploration Hall mainly exhibits fishing villages in the region, marine aquaculture, and it shows the living conditions of fishing villages in the past.
[Outdoor Space]
